Proprietor Chris Martin has recently been made chairman of British Numismatic Trade AssocIation (BNTA), in addition to acting as chairman of Antiquities Dealers' Assocation (ADA) and being a member of LAPADA. Ancient & Oriental abides by the standards set within their codes of conduct.
We have the largest stock of Ancient and Medieval coins and antiquities within the UK and have exhibited at many fairs including The Olympia Fine Art Fair, House and Garden, Coinex etc. We have also organised many selling exhibitions at the London department store of Fortnum and Mason in Piccadilly, including "Heads and Tales", "The Silk Road", "Kingdom of the Dragon" and perhaps the most famous, "The Millennia Exhibition" which has been hailed the largest and most prestigious antiquities exhibition ever held in the UK and was featured on BBC news and in The London Times.
