A very powerful Ancient Egyptian amulet being a combination of four eyes. One single eye was believed to belong to the falcon-headed god Horus and referred to as the wedjat or udjat eye, which was very popular in Ancient Egypt; as Carol Andrews remarks, probably found in greater numbers on mummies than any other amulet, and, of course, it was also worn in life. Such eyes could also be combined in one. If one wedjat gave protection, multiple wedjats would furnish even more, (though they are comparatively much rarer).

Very fine condition.
