A Luristan ceremonial bronze macehead of tubular shape, with three panels of herring-bone pattern in relief. Supplied with a wooden stand (height with stand 28.6 cms).

Condition: Generally Fine; un-cleaned and with some encrustations, a couple of minor holes worn through but good stable bronze with olive-green patination.

Iron-Age: Luristan area of Western Persia:
Circa 1000 BC
