    Sizeable Late Dynastic Ushabti

    Late Dynastic Period, 715-332 BC

    Large, green glazed faience ushabti, of atypical mummiform composition, wearing striated wig and royal beard; arms crossed over the chest, holds pick and flail in either hand; basket and rope over left shoulder. Eight vertical bands of hieroglyphics to lower body; integral dorsal plinth inscribed with hieroglyphics. Trapezoid groundline.
