Ancient Warrior Figurines

In the pantheon of Ancient Egypt, several gods and demi-gods were portrayed as warriors or with a strong warlike character. Similarly, ancient Greek and Roman mythology and literature was replete with warrior figures, whose actions were intended to be model examples of heroism and courage.
