A long restrung necklace of faience beads and tubes which were individually crafted in the New Kingdom period together with a pale blue faience 'Eye of Horus' amulet dating to the Ptolemaic period.

The beads have a particular rich colour, designed to mimic more expensive stones and materials such as lapis lazuli, whilst the Eye of Horus was a powerful symbol of protection in Ancient Egypt, also known as the Wedjet,  (or Ujat, meaning "Whole One") and the "all seeing eye". It was believed to have healing and protective power, and was used as a protective amulet.
