A turquoise faience amulet depicting the Osirian triad of Egyptian gods. Centrally stands the figure of Horus, the son of Osiris, whilst to his right stands his mother, Isis. To Horus's left stands Nepthys, sister of Isis. They are all depicted striding forward, with Horus appearing naked. Isis is recognisable by the throne headdress she wears. Similarly, Nepthys wears a crown representing a house and basket. Suspension hoop at the top for hanging.

In mythology the three gods are connected with the Osirian funerary myth. The two goddesses also aided in Horus' protection against Seth, his uncle. Such amulets were usually...
