A good-sized Daunian stamnos in buff pottery. The wheel-made vessel has an out-turned rim, a short neck, two stubby handles mid-way down the body and stands on a flat base. The vessel is decorated with a band of stylised vines around the middle, and horizontal bands above and below, as well as on the inside of the mouth in reddish brown and umber pigments.

Condition: Very Fine: A repair to one of the handles, otherwise complete and intact, with light accretions.
