A finely modelled Ordos civilisation cast bronze belt plaque in the shape of an ibex, depicted while running, with its legs underneath its body. Anatomical features are here emphasized by a nicely rendered geometric decoration, comprising incised lines and circles. A beautiful olive green patination covers the surface.

Date: Circa 6th century BC
Provenance: From an important Russian collection, 1980’s.
Condition: Fine, complete and intact with some earthly encrustations and olive green patina to the surface.
