Anatolia (also known as Asia Minor) was located in the Anatolian Peninsula –  part of modern Turkey today. It is one of the first regions to have boasted bronze production, much like Luristan. The Iron Age of Anatolia marked the rise of classical civilisation, when Syro-Hittite culture rose and took over the former Hittite Empire.
